Ronald's Journey
My name is Mbuga Ronald, and my story is one of pain, resilience, and redemption.
A World Shattered
As a young boy, my world was shattered when my parents, unable to resolve their misunderstandings, separated. My mother left, and my father remarried. What should have been a second chance turned into a nightmare — my stepmother mistreated me so badly that I felt like I no longer belonged.
Life on the Streets
The warmth of home was replaced with fear and sorrow. One day, the pain became unbearable, and I made the hardest decision of my life — I left home and sought refuge in the bustling streets of Kampala. Every day was a battle for survival, a struggle to find food, shelter, and a sense of belonging.
A Light in the Darkness
Just when I thought there was no hope left, an extraordinary man named Byaruhanga Innocent came into my life. He saw me not as a street child but as a young soul yearning for a chance. He took me under his wing and showed me that my past did not define my future.
Rebuilding & Rising
Through his kindness, guidance, and unwavering support, I slowly began to rebuild my life. Today, I stand here as a testament to the power of compassion and the strength of the human spirit. But my journey has left me with scars that run deep.
When I look around and see children in similar situations — abandoned, mistreated, and lost — I feel their pain as if it were my own. I cannot turn a blind eye to their suffering.
Ronald's Mission
My experiences have ignited a burning desire within me to be a beacon of hope for these children. They deserve love, support, and opportunities to dream again, just as I was given. No child should ever feel forgotten or unloved. Together, we can transform their lives and offer them the future they deserve.
